Blue Point at Suluban Beach

06/09/2013

BREATH-TAKING CLIFF VIEWS FROM SULUBAN
The boyfriend goes to Bali every year to get in some 'real' surfing. And his favorite spot is here, Blue Point. At high tide, it's just waves crashing into huge rock formations on which bars and restaurants have been built, connected to each other by bridges and small pathways. At low tide, you can make your way out onto a secluded beach. If that's not really your thing, there are also sunbeds up on the rock formations complete with sand to put your feet in.

This place is so nice to just relax, have some freshly pressed fruit juice and just admire the beauty. Access is just a little freaky for those of us who have mild cases of vertigo or fear of heights as the stairs down to the beach entrance are narrow, steep and have nothing resembling a guardrail or any sort of protection.
