QUEUEING FOR THE SUNSET

We went to Kuta to celebrate my birthday - Kuta, Legian and Seminyak are really where all the happening bars and clubs are. We started off with drinks at a place near the beach waiting for the sun to set. Then headed to the beach to enjoy the actual sunset. From there we walked over to a restaurant hidden away in a beautifully flowered courtyard and had dinner.
We went back to Kuta the last day to buy some last minute souvenirs and to pick up our tailor-made goods. Kuta is always crowded. The traffic is insane. So if you are into shopping (the huge malls are here only), drinking or partying the night away, I recommend getting a hotel in the area. From Nusa Dua, with traffic, it easily takes 30minutes to an hour to get there. So make sure you choose your area wisely!
