THE AMAZING ULUWATU TEMPLE

Perched at the top of a cliff, Uluwatu temple is worth visiting not only for the temple itself but also for the spectacular views from the temple. The central temple itself is not open to visitors but there is plenty of walking around to be done and amazing vistas to discover.

Just be careful of the monkeys - they're cute but attracted to anything that dangles or shine. Take off necklaces, sunglasses, hats and make sure your camera is strapped to your wrist. Also, keep in mind that it is a temple and appropriate dress code is expected. You'll have to wear a sarong which you can either bring yourself or borrow when you buy tickets.
