Redwoods

DWARFED BY THE REDWOODS
We drove all the way down to Northern California to get a glimpse of the amazing Redwoods. We got lost and drove by the same area marveling at the giants that lined the roads and ended up at the camping ground before we were told that basically the Redwood forest is free and we could stop anywhere on the side of the road and wander in. Amazing. So that's exactly what we did.

It was like being in Jurassic Park and we even found a tire print (of someone who got stuck in the mud) that looked like a dinosaur footprint (with a little imagination....)! It hadn't rained in quite a while but the ground was wet, which goes to show how little sunshine actually gets through. Translation: it's pretty cold in there so layer up!

Check out pictures from San FranciscoCrater Lake, the Oregon Coastline and Beaches, Rogue River, Mt Hood, Multnomah Falls, the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone and it's geysers and springs, Artist's PointPortland (OR), Seattle and Vancouver (B.C.)!
