THE OLD AND THE NEW MEET IN LISBON

Lisbon, capital city of Portugal, is the place for shopping, eating, and sightseeing without the throngs of people like in other European cities. The architecture is gorgeous, the people friendly and the weather one of the best in Europe in the Fall and Winter.
As it is built on seven hills, walking around Lisbon is quite a hike so getting the Viva Viagem transport card is highly recommended. But if you can, walk as much as possible. The streets are beautiful and the tiled facades of the buildings can be absolutely magnificent.
