| THE AMAZINGLY BLUE WATERS OF CRATER LAKE WILL TAKE YOUR BREATH AWAY |
Crater Lake is the deepest and purest lake in the USA, created by an eruption so violent that the volcano collapsed on itself and created a large pool filled only by rain and melted snow. It's unbelievable that something so terrifically powerful and violent could create something so beautiful and serene.
Perhaps its somewhat remote location is the reason why it wasn't so crowded, but it is definitely worth it. Seeing pictures of it online cannot prepare you for the unbelievable color and the mirror-like quality of the lake. You'll feel like you've left the usual terrestrial plane and ascended to new heights.
